looking to thin hair using thinning shears purcases at local beauty supply. would like to know proper thechnique
Typically you want to take your section of hair you will be thinning (after you’ve done all your sectioning and parting) and you will make your cut at least a couple of inches away from the head. Then you just pull the shears through the strand bringing the newly cut hair with you. Of course this can all change slightly depending on the hair and the cut. Youtube has a suprising amount of videos on all kinds of hair-cutting techniques. Try looking there and watching some!
